Location and Surrounds
As you can see on our website, our time-honoured Garden Villa with its cosy garden is situated in a natural parkland right on top of the Tribschenhorn recreation area, very close to the famous Richard Wagner museum. Here we rent out an inviting guest room on the ground floor which has been completely renovated and refurnished with love just in autumn 2021.
The guest room is perfectly suitable for individual tourists from close by or far away and for tenants who stay in Lucerne during the week due to professional reasons. Enjoy and experience the unusual inspiring quietness here with fantastic views on the town, lake, mountains and forests plus lovely swimming opportunities in the marvellous lake very close by. Gladly we help our guests with precious personal travel tips for cool unforgettable trips in Switzerland or neighbouring countries which you don’t find in any travel brochure.
Access, Public Transport and Shopping
Free parking right in front of our house is provided.
Great public transport takes you to the main station in just 10 minutes, the three bus lines number 6,7,8 turn up every few minutes in close proximity at bus stop Wartegg.
For more romantic people the nostalgic ship Rütli regularly waits just down a short walkway at the little Tribschen pier during the warm season.
On foot you reach us from the town centre in just 30 minutes by a most picturesque stroll along the splendid lake shore – if you watch and even feed the many delightful swans and ducks en route it takes you a nice little bit longer…
Shopping opportunities are close by at the shopping mall Schönbühl.
